Sprite Stitch Board!

I have a picture I have wanted done now for quite a while, but I have never been able to successfully make my own pattern for it. This is the image:

The picture is rather large, so I don't want to post it here. If someone could make it into a pattern, I would be forever grateful.

Holy mackerel! That image is indeed quite large and detailed. It'll be quite the challenge to stitch. (But it'll also look awesome!)

Now for the details: What size do you want your finished cross-stitch to be, and how many colors do you want to use?

Well, the one I'm working on right now is 4 feet by 2 feet, which is huge haha,so I'm thinking with this image it's going to have to be bigger... looking at it, I really can't say..
maybe 4 feet by 3 feet? I'm really bad with judging size by looking at an image. Colourwise, I'll use as many as it needs. Looking at the image, I have the feeling I'm going to need at least 15-20.

I've never requested someone to make a pattern for me, so I don't even know how to guess.

I managed to make a pattern, but it's using 32 colours, which is fine. HOWEVER, the colours look a little off. I'm going to pick a couple of them up and stitch part of it and see how it looks, but from the pattern it doesnt seem like it will look to great.

I love that image! It's the Manga bookmarks. Great choice but super ambitious! Post pics as you do this, I'd love to see it!

Very ambitious! I'm going to start it as soon as I get a pattern figured out. I'm doing the World 1 map of SMB3 right now, and it's massive, but I'm almost done that!

I'm going to bump this up. The pattern I made is not working at all, if someone else can give it a try. Number of colours isn't an issue.

could yoou possibly put up a pic of the original image.the link you give is broken. i love sailor moon too!!

Ive had a stab at part of it, I tried moon but that one is tricky! So I did Mercury, at the moment she is 45 colours, but I reckon some of them are going to be practically impossible to tell apart when you stitch them, so when you look at the threads in the store, you can probably map some of the colours over to drop the colour count right down. Tell me what you think, if you like it I will have a stab at the other girls.
