I've seen a couple of chess boards done in cross stitch floating around on the net, but can't seem to find any patterns...
Anyone know of any?
Thanks in advance.

If I were doing it, I would get whatever aida or material I wanted, cross stitch a square (equal sides) until I got one the size I wanted, then just write down the count. then you can just do a square at a time, and add a border around it that is one or two wide

What website could I see full chess tournaments? I remember there were several websites where I could see hundreds of different chess matches from the 1700s and now. I could see the whole board and I could click a button to see move after move of the entire game. I could also see classic tournaments. Where online could i see this?

I would think this would be pretty easy to design, just make the boxes equal and I'm sure it would be easy to figure out how many you need to have. rows/columns wise... I don't know these numbers as I haven't played chess in years.
On another note, I don't know where the pattern for mine is, I'll have to search the box of supplies when I get home from work, but I did have a monopoly board one that was pretty neat. Instead of a traditional frame, a friend did it and put it between to pieces of glass as her coffee table. Looked awesome and you had a monopoly board right there to play. This same idea would be great with a chess board!
