Help with Vocaloid pattern plz? :)

Hi guys, i really wanted to stitch this pic and i sorta started workin on it in KG-chart, but im not that good with editing patterns so im hoping someone with more experience could have a look at what ive done and make any edits to make it better..as in reducing the number of colours needed because whenever i tried the pic just ended up looking bad xD

ive attached the original pic and my efforts so far, thanks in advance

Have you tried saving the picture as a .BMP file before putting it into KG-Chart? That might help a bit with the amount of colors you want to have.

I did a quick run through of it on my normal settings for KG-Chart and this is what I got. Hope this helps.

Thanks alot for doing this, I'm glad you got the colour
count down, but some of the colour in their faces had gone too no worries I can fix it. Thanks again!
