Beauty and the Beast rose

Post by Shazbang »

Hey there I usually do my own patterns but I've been having particular trouble with this picture and converting it!

I want to do a really simple pattern from it but there is so much background "noise" going on in the picture that try as I might I just can't get a good pattern!
Can someone else help me out and give it a go?
I just want the main colours so solid black lines and the main flower and glass colours.
I want it about 20cm tall but I'm flexible - just not too big. Preferably on 18 count aida please.

I will be eternally grateful to whoever can take the time to do this for me!

Thanks in advance! =D

106x140, 10 colours (which you can change up to suit). On 18ct it should be about 14.7 x 19.5cm (5.8" x 7.7").

Please let me know if this is ok, or if you need anything else!

EDIT: I actually just noticed in the preview that there are a few stray pixels in the bloom that I meant to clean up - sorry about that! Will post revised versions later if required! :D

I LOVE this! I'm going to try and muster up some energy (stupid anemia) to make a smaller version using backstitch. I hope this is ok?

Yay! I tried to fiddle around with this last night, but couldn't get it to look right. Glad BMH did because I want to stitch this up. Though, I'm thinking of removing the glass cover and just doing the rose.

This is AWESOME! Someone shared an awesome larger Beauty and the Beast stained glass on facebook from the movie the other day and I wanted to convert it but it was so large and cropping it just wasn't an option as it lost so much detail. It was the stained glass that shows the "ugly old woman" offering the Prince the rose in return for shelter from the storm, and I loved it and really would love to stitch it but I think I will be trying this one instead!

Yeah I love the stained glass images from Beauty and the Beast but it was so hard to convert any of them and WAY to big to do from scratch so I went for this one and still had trouble lol. What would we do without BMH?? =)

Here's my small pattern all outlining in backstitch and tons of 3/4 and 1/4 stitches.
