Sprite Stitch Board!

I have a slightly different request for a pattern. I dont need this image changed into a crossstitch pattern, I just need a person with more photoshop skill than myself to add the word "cup" to the image and make it look good or at least better than my sad attempt with paint. This is hopefully going to be embroidered by xmas as a present to my boyfriend.

and this is a rough idea of what I am looking for but with the word cup in a pretty font and to be black with a white outline so that it shows up:
I am pretty open to any ideas that may work better than this. For how simple I thought this would be it has caused me more frustration than any other pattern I have worked on.
