Sprite Stitch Board!

Hi,
I'm making a christmas gift for my husband who is a major gamer. It is all old school NES stuff. He has requested that I include Metroid as part of the project and I am having trouble finding patterns for it. Basically I need cross stitch charts for Samus and some of the other characeters/bad guys from the game. I looked at the box from the 1987 game and the stuff on there would be good (http://www.gamefaqs.com/console/nes/image/519689.html). Please excuse my lack of expertise in using the correct lingo. I'm the crafter, he's the gamer.

It has to be from the NES game, can't be from a more recent game.

should be easy...I recommend you pick out exactly what you're looking for...

check out the sprite sheet labeled SAMUS ARAN and the one labeled CREATURES OF ZEBES. dont go too far down, those are user created sprites.

pick exact sprites you like and we can make you up a pattern in no time at all...

If I have picked any that aren’t the authentic colours please pick the right one. I have no familiarly with this game at all so I’m just picking ones that I think look good. Also if there is one that is very important to the game and I missed it, please add.
I have used a lot of the patterns from your site. I will definitely send you photos of the finished project.
