Sprite Stitch Board!

Hey guys! So I'm into big projects with lots of colors. I want to make this for my little sister's birthday. However, I'm still a little green when it comes to x-stitching and the terminology behind it. I've only done 2 Hogwarts House crests and making my way with a Sailor Scouts with almost 60 colors.

Number of Colors: I don't mind how high the number can be. This pattern may have a lot of of them but I want to bring all those colors to what I'm making to give it a bit of dimension and not make it so flat looking. Does that make sense?
Aida: I'm thinking of making it in a 16ct as an experiment since I've never dealt with it. But if you think I should use another count, just let me know and of course I'll accommodate by just buying the fabric.
Size: The image comes from a wallpaper and would like for it to be a descent size. Nothing small but nothing too big! Perhaps something along the lines of 400-600 stitches Long by 300-500 stitches wide. However, whatever you think works better, go right ahead.

I can only view the patterns in PDF...I used to have the other programs but they were a pain for me and my poor, old computer. DX

So I did a quick run through with the picture that you were wanting. The pattern is for 16ct fabric but I am not sure you could find a piece large enough as it will be 158.75x99.37cm (62.5x39.125in). Having it on 22ct fabric might be easier to find. Anyways, here is the pattern.
