Music notation sample

Post by RMDC »

I'm trying to hand-construct a pattern for the Ballad of the Wind Fish from Link's Awakening, with sheet music notation alongside game sprites. Unfortunately, the sticking point is the notation. If anyone's got a simple notation pattern - like a sampler or something - that would be wonderful. Backstitch style would be welcome, especially for the note tails and the staffs! Thanks in advance!

How big do you want the notes? Depending on that, here's a free pattern where the notes are about 25 by 25 stitches. I can make smaller notes, if you need.

I was thinking more like something no more than six stitches wide. >.> The piece would be awfully large if every note was 25 stitches wide!

Something like this? Let me know if you need bigger notes, or different notations.
