Nightmare Before Christmas font

I just completed a Jack Skellington pattern & am looking for a backstitch alphabet to go w/ it so that I can add my boyfriend's name & birthdate. My next project is Sally & I'd like to do the same w/ my name & birthdate. I have found a Nightmare Before Christmas computer font & tried converting it into a pattern via KG Chart but have had no luck thus far. The characters come out looking smooshed & unreadable. If somebody could help me w/ this, I would be eternally grateful!!!
