Sprite Stitch Board!

ok, you got two months to do something alphabet related.

some people have discussed doing their username with matching sprites, some single letters, real names, full alphabet, whatever strikes your fancy. The main idea I believe is to have a character that has the same first letter as the letter you are working with. For example for the letter M you could stitch Mario next to it, etc...

Submissions are due by midnight on august 31st!!

Woo! I wasn't going to attempt this challenge because of lack of time... but I can't help it. I've got stitching fever again. Will see what I can whip up! Good luck everyone

What exactly are the "rules", aside from what johloh already posted... like, do I stitch something then just take a picture of it and submit it here?

that is all you do. it can be any form of craft, does not need to be stitching. submit a picture by the due date is all!

so i started mine before reeeally measuring the fabric and had to start over because i figured out that the fabric wasn't long enough (literally by like 15 stitches too) ;P i wasn't too far in tho, lol

I have started my first letter though, and it's turning out to be larger than I thought >_< ah well.

I have so many quilts lined up and ones I have to finish I have to pass on this months challenge.

Wow, what good timing! I just finished my very first cross stitch project ever, and here it is: (it needs to be ironed, still a little wrinkled)



I had a ton of fun making it! I've been a big crafter since I was about 5 years old, but for some reason it never occured to me to try stitching until after visiting this site

You know, do the whole alphabet and you would be able to make a really awesome quilt!
