Aww unlucky. Hope you can get it sorted soon!
Also, wanted to add that I solved my box problem by making a box! So it's sent! With any luck, my swappie should get it within a week! (Sorry it's late!)

I seriously underestimated my project (maybe because it came out about 3 times bigger than I had planned). I worked on it non stop for the last two weeks.. But I finished it and it is going in the mail on Monday. Yay!
I also want to apologise to my swappie for the wait.
I am one of the people receiving late boxes, and I think I speak for all of us late receivers by saying It's OK!! Trust me, I would rather receive something late and finished then a half-done project. We are all perfectionists, and it happens.
That is why when I quote a time frame for a quilt, I always add extra time. Life happens and in order to not go crazy, you have to go with it and accept it.
I can't wait! Even if it means I wait until the end of July.
I posted my package yesterday and here's what happened. The employee asked me several times if the content of the package was well protected because the package would travel a lot. I told him that it was in bubble wrap so it shouldn't be a problem unless someone started playing football with it. And he told me that they throw all the packages in big carts, regardless of their sizes and weight and that if my package happened to be under all the other ones, it could be damaged pretty badly.
Now I'm scared that my swapee's gift may arrive broken in several pieces or not arrive at all...
WIPs :
- Portal icons and Aperture Science logo
- The Name of the Doctor

holy crap! that's horrendous! I'm sorry, that's really frustrating for you =( hopefully your swappee will get it more or less in one piece.
I just printed out the shipping label, and I'll be dropping my box in the mail in the morning!
Hoorah!
