I drew it out beforehand on paper then drew the most basic outlines in chalk on the felt. And I might be even happier that you actually have a place to put it XD Also, because I worried that the painting wasn't enough for a mega swap gift, you may be getting a few other little things around Christmas. I had some smaller things that I had been working on as extras, but I didn't get a chance to finish before I left, but when I get home for Christmas, I'll have the chance to get them out! Think of it as a, uh, spaced out gift set!
