OCT Challenge - Zodiac

This is my first challenge and I am extremely nervous that it will pale in comparison to everyone else's work! However I did find a cute pattern to stitch. Does it have to be strictly zodiac or can it be cartoonish? Thanks! I don't want to give away what I'm doing and I'm really excited to start!

I am all excited about this. I am working on one now. It will be my first video game cross stitch, my second cross stitch ever, my first time making my own pattern and my first time submitting anything to this board I have been stalking for a while.

Oh yeah, and my first time working on black aida... well you get the idea.

It is Simba, AND the pattern was made from a sprite from a Lion King Game. Can't remember which, but I found it by searching "simba" on Spriter's Resource.

Love the color choices for the water. It looks subtle and shimmery. I bet it looks even better in person.

Yeah, the glittery thread on the darker water colour doesn't really show in the picture.
