Sprite Stitch Board!

I still haven't finished up my last pattern because I've started my new pattern. This thing is massive and will take me A LOT of time. I'm hoping to be done in a year. But here it is.

Can you guess what it is yet?



I'm betting this will be guessed pretty quick.

Sorry all, I've been at a week long training and haven't checked the boards, nor have I worked on the pattern this last week.

I'll give you a hint:

I want guesses on it.

It is the Link to the Past Title Screen. The thing is massive and over 150k stitches. But I'm determined to get the thing done and have a great piece of one of my favorite video games of all time!

I have recently moved but I've been working on this quite a bit. I'll tell you what, this thing is going to be * huge. I am worried about completing it. I have been working on it for 45 days and I am not even through 1 of 21 pages. At this rate, I'll be done in 3 1/2 years. Yikes.

But here is the progress. I will be moving over to the page to the right of this next and continue working on the mountains. I may start working on the sky above and the water below and not stick so much to the pages.

Any advice on working on such a massive project would be great.

It is looking great so far. Yes, it is massive, but you can totally do it! I know that a lot of people like to stick to one page at a time, but I prefer going where the colors take me, if that makes sense. You can work one shade of green in the trees for a ways, then do the next, etc. etc. And don't worry, you can get it done. I have been working on my project pretty much as much as I can for over 20 weeks now, and I expect to have at least another 10 to go... it's over 62,000 stitches, so it might not be as big as yours but it's still decent. You can do it, keep with it

Are you actually doing four stitches per pixel of the original image? Just how big is your fabric? (Sorry, no useful advice - I've been working on a 1:1 version of the original Zelda title screen, but I'm not even half done with that yet ...)
