Sprite Stitch Board!

FINISHED! ;D

It took me about 3-4 weeks. 3 strands of DMC on AIDA 11 canvas. This has been my 1st cross stitch in YEARS so constructive criticism is appreciated, as are comments

11? oh my goodness. i thought 14 was the biggest i'd ever use.
i do most of my projects on 18... but they're usually really big.

I tried one of the smaller ones, but I strained my eyes too much. Eventually, I'll make the move to smaller ones.

Looks like 11 works pretty well for video game stuff, especially since the older characters are supposed to be pixelized anyway. Sonic looks good.

My current project (for the June/July challenge) is on 22 count. Talk about eye strain. And the thread gets tangled more often too, since it's just a single strand.

I had to use 1 whole thing of dark blue embroidery thread and a bit of another one to complete it all. If I stitched the blue too long, my brain would start to hurt. :?
