Every time I see one of your posts I think "Geez! I really need to try this out myself!"

I haven't yet, but I really ought to. I also really ought to try matting the stuff I make I've never tried it, but it sure looks nice here.

It is really not hard at all to do, it's just time consuming. I usually just put on a tv show on DVD for a marathon viewing and get to work.

I use the 14 pt plastic canvas (not sure how it would look and work on fabric, though eventually I want to try it if I ever learn to use a sewing machine) and all the strands of the floss. For more complicated sprites (think SNES), I'll use PCStitch to match the colors but for the simpler ones (NES), I'll usually just wing it.

Also, you can get frames with mats from Walmart for $3 apiece.

Oh wow, I didn't even realize that was canvas! That makes it all the more cooler now. I always worked with cross stitch because I didn't know plastic canvas could look so cool.
