I just decided to take on my first massive project - the map of Rogueport and surrounding lands from Paper Mario: The Thousand Year Door. I'm using 16 count off-white aida.
I bough the pattern a few months ago on
Etsy from ServoStitches. I've done a bit here and there over the past month or so, but now that my other projects are finished, I'm looking forward to putting some serious work in on this! It has 72,960 stitches so it should only take me about...the rest of my life to finish!

Update: I finally got the compass rose done. I knew it would take me a while because there are a ton of single stitches, but it took even longer than expected. I tried to count, and there were at least SIXTY colors in the compass, and the whole project is 120! So I used at least half the colors to fill in this damn thing.

I stopped stitching for a month or so because life got in the way, but i got started again in the last couple weeks! I feel like I've made a lot of progress, but then i look at the whole thing and I still have soooo much to go. I'm about 1/3 through the first of four columns.
