Sprite Stitch Board!

Devil's Castle Dorakyura. On 14 count black evenweave with glow in the dark floss. I had originally wanted to do something like my earlier Metroid piece, but the in-game character sprites weren't detailed enough to fit them into the Japanese characters in a way I thought worked. I still have a pattern in that style. I also tried putting the backgrounds for each level inside the Japanese, but it just looked bad plus I forgot to save it.

So in the end I just went with red in the glow in the dark white.

All that backstitching must have been a pain, but it was totally worth it! I really wish GITD would come out well in photos; I'd love to see how it looks in the dark.
