So a while back a girlfriend of mine mentioned how cool it would be to have something cross stitched that wasn't conventional....I roamed the internet this morning for a pattern and for some reason this one called out to me. So after a day of stitching this is the finished product ! Me and her are headed to an Andy Warhol exhibit tomorrow so had to have it ready to present then.....
I had a random frame that i took a family pic out of and left the glass off as it wouldn't fit back together once it was full with canvas, back board, and cardboard.

I really love how it turned out i just really hope she loves it too!

when I'm in transit or need a break from the big stitch i'm doing this cute little guy
i painted some paper last night to make a frame and matt for it.... but the paper stuck to the newsprint and tore *sigh* so ill either jerry - rig it or make new paper later..... i plan to pop it on my etsy when its done

im dyeing canvas for the first time today. currently have 3 pieces in the dye and blue hands....will update when i finish!

AHHHH!!! i tried dyeing a skirt a week ago and it worked.

today i dyed canvas and it worked!!

I'm addicted to dyeing anddddddd iron on transfers (but thats a different topic all together we won't get into today !) exciting !!! ahhhhh!!!!!
