2013 Christmas gifts

I was stingy for Christmas last year and made most of my gifts (though I only gave gifts to four people...) My brothers' girlfriend is a big fan of Doctor Who so I made her these:
The first one was made off a pattern I found while skipping through Google Images, and the second one is a modification of a finished piece someone else had made that I couldn't get in contact with so I jiggered with it and did my own version. These projects also mark my very first use of metallic and antiques effect thread and while it looked super pretty, I'm not in a hurry to use it again!
This was for my brother. I saw this design on a t-shirt I saw some guy wearing when i was in town one day. It cracked me up, but he disappeared around a corner or into a portal or whatever before I could ask him about it. The pattern was pretty simple to make, and I still have it if anyone wants it. I also didn't really notice until it was framed but I did a pretty shoddy job of ironing it!
I was too lazy to take a picture of them individually, but there's also the crocheted snitch and chibi Charmander. The snitch was free but the Charmander pattern came from Etsy. I also did a pretty average job sewing the pieces together but I think it adds 'character'! These two were Secret Santa presents for a friend thankfully as nerdy as I!
