Retro X&Y! *updated 3/2! *

Just a placeholder at the moment, I've *just* ordered the aida for this, which should come in Wednesday next week at the latest, though it could come as early as tomorrow, considering it's from interstate.. I haven't decided if i'll be framing them together, or separately but near each other... or sending them out to put in the Vault.

I'll be starting this after I do a quick side project - A Seal of Rassilon book cover.

WIP 1!
Mainly just marking out colours, I want to do the top and Xerneas first, then work downwards.
Stitched in the eyes and the dark blue, otherwise I *know* that i'll stuff it up.

I haven't gotten a whole lot done, as I had the parents (well, my mum and her manfriend
) visiting for the week, they're almost in Townsville as I type, going up to catch up with mum's sister, and meet her great-nephew (my cousin) whos about 7 months old.
I changed the dark blue to 517.. it was just too dark, against the black with the original blue, and overstitched the antlers with metallic blue. (E3843) apologies for the blurry pic!

Thanks! I've done so very little on it since that pic - been working on a few last minute presents, and a Doctor Who scarf... but not Tom Baker's.

So after a month or so of inactivity, I've started stitching this again. I finished Xerneas before I put it down - I managed to wear a lovely hole in my finger, and I learned knitting around the same time, so i've just been letting it heal.
So: Xerneas!

getting through this blue pretty quickly
I find that having premarked the areas to stitch makes this go uber fast.
