Kareesh's VG Stitches

Decided to jump on the bandwagon and make a place to store all my video game related stitches.
I was hoping to enter this one into the coloring book challenge, but ran out of black, and it took me awhile to pick some more up. After I did get it, I just ran out of steam. At least it's done now, so I'm thinking of gifting it to my brother, as he loves Kingdom Hearts as much as I do.
I kinda wish I only used 1 strand for the crown instead of 2. Would have shown off the blackwork better and not look as crowded. Oh well.

I think it looks beautiful! It's always great to finish a project.

I love it! And I know what you mean by lacking steam. Blackwork really takes ages to do...

I've already commented on your dA deviation, but I wanted to join in here too. Love your colour and pattern choices!

Really? I've found it to be quick and easy, a good change from all the Xs I'm used to!

The lack of steam was mainly just in cross stitching in general. I don't mind blackwork, as I can usually do it and not concentrate too hard once I have the pattern down.

I've been working on making my own patterns from sprites. I decided to go through and work on all the original 151 Pokemon. I plan on stitching them all up, but I'm sure it's going to take me forever. I'm doing all the sprites from Fire Red/Grass Green found at the Spriter's Resource. This means the front of the Pokemon in battle, the back in battle, as well as the little ones (which I can't remember what they're used for.) I finished Bulbasaur and since I had some 22-count leftover from my swap present, so I thought I would stitch up a little baby Bulbasaur. I didn't realize how little he would be! Finished in about an hour. I might tinker with the colors a little bit, but overall I'm pretty pleased.

Been working pretty steadily on my charity quilt square. All I have left is a ton of blue and some green. This is from Wayne Gretzkey's Hockey for the NES.

OMG I am in LOVE with the baby Bulbasaur!!! He came out so tiny.
Your charity quilt square looks great, you're on quite the roll with that.
