Sprite Stitch Board!

Welcome to the WIP thread for the PSIV project that Lileya and myself will be tackling

Here's what we will be working towards:

I thought it would be interesting to post together because while we are doing mostly the same images, we will be going about it differently.

Lileya will be fully stitching each piece on white aida, because she's nutty, while I will be stitching the characters on dyed 22ct evenweave, because I'm lazy or as I like to call it, busy. So we will have different results and it should be interesting to see how the same images come out when done in different ways!

I started Rika (pink hair) on Thursday night, did a couple of hours and then a few hours yesterday! I know Lileya already posted a starting WIP of Rune (blue hair), but she wasn't entirely happy, so she's decided to start again and will hopefully be buying supplies today!

So, let me kick things off with a couple of WIPs!

Thursday night's work: Friday's work: Apologies for the crappy pics, using phone again as camera never seems to be available when I want to do WIPs! I'll try to get hold of the camera, because my phone just doesn't pick up the colour of the fabric properly. Of course, doesn't help that it's really dull all the time at the minute! *shakes fist at sky*

Wow, this awesome. They are really cool projects to begin with, but the fact that you'll be doing them together should be really fun and motivating. It's like a stitch-a-long of two. Thanks to this site (and BMH) I've seen and heard so many cool things about PSIV that I really want to play it now. I'm in love with the images from the game.
I'm really excited to watch this progress, so you better keep us updated!

Gaaaaaah, I'm so NEVER EVER gonna catch up... -_-

Going to the store in like 20 minutes, hopefully they have what I'm looking for... I decided on all my colors for Rune, so I'm attaching to this post my pattern. I'm still unsure for the darker green. I was hesitating between 319 and 3345, but I chose 319 afterall. Knowing myself, I might still change my mind...

Have you decided on your color for Rika's hair?

Neat to see two stitchers stitching along on the same kind of project but each having their own design to it. These are going to be so cool.

You will, I'm just giving myself a good start so I can at least say it's started! But this week I have to start work on a bunch of other stuff including gifts so I won't be able to work on Rika as much

I'm not fully decided - I have a choice of 601 or 3804. I need to stare at them a while longer, I think.

Everyone should play it, it really is a fantastic game!

And thank you Miss Clawful - once I knew that Lileya had practically the same idea as me, it seemed like a great idea to do it together! And hopefully show how you can make the same image look a bit different

3 stores and no luck... So I will have to order it online and its bound to take at least one week... >_< Oh well, I just came up with an idea for the portrait challenge so I will work on that in the mean time!

I really love the idea of posting WIPs from 2 different but similar projects simultaneously. I look forward to seeing your progress!

I didn't work on this on Sunday (was having a lazy day) or today (working on something for the portrait challenge) but here's Saturday's progress:
Might not have any more to report for a few days, because I've got a few other things to work on, but I'll try and get some more of the black done!
