Super Metroid Boss Statue COMPLETE

I started this last summer while I was at the beach. I've made decent progress I think, but I hope to get more done after I finish my Gradius code one. When I chose which sprite I wanted to do I wanted to make sure I did one that represented something I loved, and I LOVE Super Metroid, and of course, its bosses. So, the boss statue was the best choice, not to mention the poses were cool. Here's a WIP pic of it. I'll try to update with progress at least twice a month, unless I get really far in one shot.

Seconded. I've been meaning to do some Metroid stitchery for a while now myself, but never seem to get to it. Maybe I'll try using those Perler beads I just picked up...

With my other projects out of the way I have more time to work on this. I've been stitching while listening to Little Shop of Horrors

I've been freaking plowing through it the past couple of days lol. The only problem is I've lost the bottom left portion of the pattern >_< so either I have to tear apart my room and find it or go through the trouble of gridding it again. Also, I hate the browns in the statue, they look exactly the same if you don't look at it with a strong light.

I would say Mr. Ridley is about 90 percent complete

I'm working on a project with some light browns that look exactly the same, so I can only work on it in my room with all the lamps on.

Doesn't it drive you nuts? The ones I've got are 800 and 938. Sometimes I'll leave some of one of them out and forget which one it was and have to throw it away just in case I mistake it. I find sunlight is the best for distinguishing my two - one of my lights works well but nothing like natural brightness lol.
