Another update! (Finally)
Excuse: Bioshock 2 came out, and I've been working on applying to college, but I have found some time over this weekend!
Also, it's good to see I'm not alone in the bottom right corner. Thanks Azalyre! (Ratatat and Raticate look awsome!)
Ah... at the risk of sounding stupid - had this piece been a stitchalong between people? And if so, are you all doing parts of it or the whole thing each?
I remember a post in this thread somewhere which showed the finished image sectioned out so just wondering!!!
As far as I know, everyone is doing an entire one of their own, and nope, this isn't a stitch-a-long, just mass insanity.
We could always use one more though... ouO
Thanks for looking.
Servo- Awsome! stephaniem- Finding cloth big enough, all of us are using 18 ct., is tough, and costs ~$8. There are 104 colors, so depending on how many of them you have to buy, that could add up to over $35, and that's if you buy only 1 skien of each, and you may need more than one for a few colors. You could use coupons to take the edge off of this though. So those, along with needles, and maybe a hoop could be around $40-$50 total. I bought a floor scroll stand for this, and that was about $50, so my total was more. I was thinking about if I ever finish this, maybe I'd post it on eBay for enough to cover part of my college, so... join the dark side, we have cookies!

Oh man! You guys... haha
Sounds good though, I think I'll hop on the bandwagon soon. What are the cloth measurements?
On the pattern page, Servo said, "25 by 14.2 inches" so that, plus enough for extra around the edges. I got a large piece of fabric at Michaels that was something like 24" by 36" I think, I don't remember, but it was there, and it worked.
Just be sure you realize how long this takes, I started about July 18 last year, and you can see how far I've gotten, but summer is on the way!
how big would this be on 14 count aida? I just moved house and currently have alot of time on my hands as kids just started kindy 4 days a week...so think I might join in on the insanity
