Possibly a silly question, but how did you premark the aida?

Also, it's great to see this again, it's coming along great!

I Did iron it before I started, hoping it would set it..

My fabric marker died on me after getting the basic gridding done. I'm thinking that if I mist water onto it, so it's only *just* damp enough to dissolve the marker, hopefully the sharpie won't run.
If it does run though, i'm using similar colours (blue where blues go etc) so I may get something really lovely out of it.

I am almost sure I've never had a sharpie (a real honest to goodness sharpie, not a marker because those do usually run when you try to wash them) run, infact, if I remember right, it's DAMNED hard to get out of cloth of any kind. It's meant to be permanent, although there are a few things that will take it off, but standard soap and water generally won't on fabric.

Hmmm. I was tempted to give the premarking a go... but I might wait to see how yours comes out first! :P

I've been knitting a quick (small) baby blankie for my sister - BUT i've almost finished the light blue :D I'll get a pic up soon... done! Haz a pic
