With the recent release of Black2 & White2, I'm curious - what does your team look like at the moment? How far through are you? What are you liking/hating about the new game?

If you haven't gotten to the newest games yet, what one are you playing, where are you at?

I'm playing White 2 at the moment, not too far off from kicking butt at the Nimbasa Gym. My team has been upgraded with a few favorites, thanks to my JP white version - I have so far (after a *lot* of grinding), in current Party Order:
Archeops (JP) - Lv38
Samurott - Lv38
Ampharos - Lv40
Darmanitan (JP) - Lv38
Jirachi (really old event, Figured it's about time I used it!) - Lv38

I have 1 spot open.. not sure what the last Pokemon i'll put in will be, or if i'll just keep it for a HM Poke.



Has anyone else gotten the Dream Radar? I know there's a few of us with 3ds'es out there. I've caught a *lot* of Swablu, and Tornadus in Therian forme so far.

I don't have Black/White2 yet (getting it on Tuesday!) but I'm still playing through HeartGold trying to finish my Pokedex. My team at the moment is:
Typhlosion, level 92
Scizor, level 86
Umbreon, level 85
Ampharos (shiny), level 87
Slowking, level 87
Dragonite, level 88

I was also playing Platinum and my team on that was:
Infernape, level 65
Luxio, level 65
Golduck, level 65
Garchomp, level 65

I haven't caught Tornadus yet. Grrr. I'm not good at the radar. Boo.

However I have a new respect for Genesect. With the exception of Fire, the bug can groove!

I don't have any fifth-gen games. For a while, i was doing monotype Platinum runs - I use SoulSilver as my "home" game for now, so I was breeding for movesets and natures, then moving the eggs over to a new game on Plat. I put it down for a few months after I finished my Dragon run.

A few weeks ago, I picked up my Pearl cartridge, finally got around to trading my wife's team to SS (a year and a half after she'd finished the game!), and started an in-game run. Right now, I have a full team, all in the mid-40s, just grinding before the E4. This is what I have plotted for final movesets:
I'm a little concerned, though, since both of my Garchomp counters are Steels, and neither one is using a STAB Chomp-killer move. I suppose I could switch Fire Fang to Ice Fang on Hippowdon. Or I could toss Ice Beam onto Mismagius - have to check, but I'm pretty sure it learns TM13, as Missy is a special cannon. I just don't want to be grinding for the next two weeks to beat the E4 with sheer level power.

Planning on getting Black 2 someday. I know so little about fifth gen.

I have Genosect.. but haven't done anything with it yet.
I missed out on the Keledo event by a *day*, because the game store people gave me the wrong info. Grrr.

RMDC, I don't think Mismagius can learn ice beam, at least Serebii says so. It does look like it can learn Icy Wind from a move tutor in gold/silver, though.

Tornadus' backsprite is *huge*, it seems to be a slow leveller though. *sticks with Archeops*

Ally, Today is Tuesday! Which one are you getting?

I'm thinking when/if I get Black2 I may do a nuzlocke run.

I'll be getting White 2, and my younger brother will get Black 2 so we'll be able to trade between each other!
I've also started EV training a team to take out my brother who ALWAYS beats me at Wifi battles, so far I have an awesome Togekiss (with serene grace!) with maxed out stats in Special Attack and Speed, kitted out with a Kings Rock. I'm not too sure what else to train, or even if I want to train more (it was damn hard!) but we'll see

Are you also doing IV breeding?

Not yet. My Pokemon playing life has mostly revolved around level grinding to 100 and then thinking I was the ultimate Pokemon Master, so I have only recently been able to to get my head around the concept of EV training (surprisingly with a lot of help from the picture below!) Maybe when I get a little better at it all I'll try IV Breeding!

Weird thing just happened in chargestone cave.. I found and caught a joltik and a klink, both of which were OT'ed to N.
Apparently it happens if you do that memory link with a black or white cart.

I've got about twenty or so which I've EV trained, and I've done training for other people in trade for their very nice critters, so my stable is a couple boxes full. I have one primary six-member team which are IV bred; they also split into two three-member teams optimized for Battle Tower usage. My IV breeds are my prizes; the luckiest project still took ten generations to breed, and my annoyer Venusaur was a twenty-generation line. But I keep all the eggs that didn't pass muster so I can use them in fun runs on Plat or Pearl.
