Sprite Stitch Board!

I heard about this french "mook" a few weeks ago, and buy the 12 first issues secondhand. I'll complete my collection as I go along...



I don't know if you have an equivalent in english (I suppose so !). It's all about retro gaming (arcade, consoles, micro...). The articles and designer interviews are very interesting. I discover plenty of "new" (rather said "unknown") video games, and sprites that go with (great inspiration source for future patterns, beads or cross stitch...). I put some more pics here on my blog.

Either I don't look hard enough (and honestly, I probably don't!) or we don't have something like that here in Australia! Looks awesome, though! Might have to start trawling the internet...

we don't have anything like that in the US that isn't indie! and.. I don't know of any indie ones since I haven't looked for it!

its called Retro Gamer its a full mag, its English, but can also be bought in Australia. They make Collection editions and back catalogue DVDs as well.

It has hardware retrospectives, classic game reviews, madern games in the classic style, interviews with old developers, remake section etc.
