Late monarch update!
2 days out~

(a little blurry but I didn't want to disturb them too much at this point)

And of course since all Monarchs seem to take great delight in me missing them do ANYTHING except eating and sleeping, Here he is drying off outside in the yard. :wave:

Two more are emerging tomorrow morning, hopefully I'll have the chance to get a decent picture or who knows maybe even catch them in action lol /crosses fingers!

Those are gorgeous - especially that first shot, with the translucent chrysalis and those beautiful gold spots. Enter that one into a contest or fair!

I can not get over how incredibly beautiful that chrysalis is! The little jewels are amazing. I can't think of a logical reason for them except maybe that the Monarchs like to be 'fancy'. So beautiful!
