Just finished Divergent and Insurgent cos I wanted to read the books before the movies come out. There's a third in the series but I got sucked into The Hobbit again for the billionth time.
The former have been compared to the Hunger Games and I can see why. But I do think they are god in their own rights. Not may favourite by any stretch but not bad at all.
My to-read pile is miles high just like everyone else's I expect.
I love downloading audiobooks of the books I have so that I can multi-task while I stitch or do anything else really. Housework is a lot less taxing when I'm listening to a book at the same time!
My favourite audiobooks by far are the Harry Potter series because they are read by Stephen Fry and he is an amazing narrator!
I think next I might start some by Raymond E. Feist that have been recommended to me by a friend while I wait for the next Mortal Instruments and Song of Ice and Fire installments =)

Well, I don't know about the kindle tablets as I do not own one, but I DO have the original basic kindle (no backlight, even!) and I don't think I could live without it. It's lightweight, so I can read one handed. I can fall asleep while reading and not worry about waking with the book on my face and that tell tale line down my nose. I have a little under 3400 books now, so it's capacity is pretty great. I also don't worry about not being able to fall asleep when I'm done reading. It seems a lot of the LCD screens have a tendency to keep me awake whereas with the e-ink, I don't have that problem. Nothing will ever beat the smell of a good old paper and ink book fresh from the store or library, but.........I still love my kindle :)

Oh! And there are backlit e-ink ones as well...but I just bought a 2 dollar book light and it works just as well :mush

My spouse and I bought a Nook HD+ and regular e-ink Nook bundle. I have my textbooks for school on the Nook - specifically, I access them via a Kindle app (the HD+ is an Android tablet). :P I like the regular Nook fine, but my spouse prefers the backlit tablet for reading. I've read a couple of books on the HD+. Since I use the tablet to hold cross stitch patterns, I bring it in my stitching bag, where it takes up less room than a thick paperback.

I love my Kindle Fire! While I do use it to read books. It really shines for graphic novels, manga, and comics. I was never into that stuff when I was younger so I have a bit of catching up to do. recently went through Claymore and Fullmetal. Started reading Neil Gaiman's Sandman cause I Love just about every one of his books (Which I also have on the Kindle). As for Comics, I used to it to re-read Calvin & Hobbes along with the first 105 Walking Deads (I hate the show, love the comics). I actually have the complete Sailormoon Collection. I hesitate cause I dont really know much about it other than seeing the girls. Is it actiony? The last books Ive read on it were George R.R. Martins Song of Ice and Fire series because I couldnt wait for the show, now Im stuck waiting for the next book though.....In conclusion, I love my Kindle Fire. Oh and you can play Plants Vs Zombies on it :good:

Rather actiony; the villains are more about head-on confrontation than "I'm going to drop a youma and run away". I prefer the manga storyline to the anime basically right up to the end of the Stars arc, where I think the anime beat out the manga for gut-wrenching angst. The manga also goes more in-depth into the backstory than the anime, to great benefit.

I have the Sony e-book reader and I love it. While I do mostly listen to audiobooks for time-saving purposes, the e-book reader is great for those big heavy books that you can't hold up in bed or any that you don't want to get damaged.
I do still like to have a physical version of all my books though cos there is nothing better than perusing the shelves of your own personal library!

I've decided that I'm going to make tiny papercraft versions of all the books I've read and a tiny bookcase in which they can rest. That way I can still have them on shelves in my house, but they weight practically nothing - and I can feel okay about keeping the actual content of the books on my e-reader. :P

Ally-> I actually just finished Frankenstein today (I only had a chapter or two left when I wrote that :D) and I did like it, amazingly enough. I may have to scrap Dracula again. I can't decide if I want to put myself through the torture to finish it. LOL!

I read 'Faerie Tale' by Feist last year. It was recommended to me because of my love of folklore and fairy tales and it was excellent! I felt like it was a little bit slow but still creepy and engaging. Highly recommend it be one of the Feist books you read.

I've started reading The Martian Chronicles today and it's an interesting premise so far. It seems to be about people from Earth coming to Mars from the Martians point of view.
