Ally wrote:I lose clothes...a lot! And it's not even like a misplaced sock or something, I lose complete outfits! I'm still devastated over losing a Foo Fighter shirt I got when I went to one of their concerts last year. I have searched everywhere for it and can't explain how I lost it short of assuming someone ran through my yeard and ripped it off the clothesline!
What?! That's crazy.
I have a couple of drawers in my dresser that are holding shirts that I can't seem to let go of. I am slowly running out of space, and so when I tell myself, "I am going to get rid of these stupid shirts I don't even wear anymore!".. I instead think of all the awesome times and places I had/go to see in them, and end up doing nothing O.o
So I can understand your pain, especially a concert shirt.

Me too! ALIENS, MAN.

There was a really good deal on it and we stocked up, but the remaining jars didn't make the move. All the rest of our stuff and our groceries did, but we never figured out what happened to the jelly.
Proof that it is aliens that happen to like grape jelly
When you have a baby it's very easy to lose things due to constant sleep deprivation. Because of this the pair of shoes I've saved for my first baby is flip flops from when he was 1 year old. My husband lost 1 shoe from each of his first two pairs of shoes and I lost one boot from his first pair of winter boots.

I think the strangest one I've had happen yet, though, was a lost cookbook that was never found. My husband and I searched our entire apartment (a small one bedroom, so it wasn't that hard.) and never found it. We even ended up moving, packed up the whole apartment, and never found it. It literally disappeared. Luckily, I replaced it. I'm still vexed that it left my house somehow and I have no idea where it went!
Oh wow!
I would be so heartbroken if I lost one of my books TT-TT They are like another part of my soul! (even if it was a cookbook, I'd still be miffed/upset with myself for losing it)
Yeah, I was pretty upset. I too am an avid book reader and collector. We have more books than we have space for! It was one of my favorite cookbooks, too. Plus, it was from the '80s, so I couldn't just go to any store and replace it. Which is why I'm thankful for Amazon! That was the only way I was able to replace it!

3-4 moves ago... I had an awesome, bright orange, trash bin and we packed a vinyl shower curtain, covered in orange goldfish, in it. Both my father and I remember this yet we never found it after we finished. I wouldn't care so much except that IT WAS BRIGHT ORANGE and HOW DO YOU LOSE THAT?!?!?! >:(|
On another note, I "lose" my keys or glasses about once a day because I don't pay attention to the fact that I put them down... I always find them later though.
