Sprite Stitch Board!

I want to crochet a quote from Portal 2 that I found on the internet and I'm having some trouble making the pattern. I am very new to cross stitch, so letters and sizing are very difficult for me. This is the image I found online-

I only want to do it in black, though the image says it's got multiple shades. Help?
