Sweeney Todd

I started a large (for me) 10x10 square cut from a high res Sweeney Todd still for my cousin. It's being worked on 22 count evenweave. This is my first project on this high a count and evenweave so it's been interesting so far. I've been doing weekly updates over on my Facebook and decided I would start doing them here as well if anyone is interested in following my progress. LOL!

Here is the cropped picture and what it will, hopefully, look like when it is completed. :)

Here is my week 5 WIP. This is from February 4th. I didn't do any stitching this week so I won't be posting anything else until next week.

I hope so Eliste! I've been so excited by this project I've been neglecting my charity square. This week I was just lazy and didn't stitch anything. Well...lazy isn't really the word. I made a pattern for a charity square for someone here which I hope is all right since they haven't responded since I posted it...lol! And I'm redoing a pattern stitch by stitch in kg chart that I bought from etsy that was so blurry it's ridiculous. I will hopefully be finished redoing the pattern within the next week so I can start stitching on it. My friend and I are doing a mail SAL with it for funsies. lol

It's always good to have a project you just can't wait to work on. I'm really looking forward to how it turns out. =)

Didn't get as much done this week as I would have liked. I keep getting distracted by this game or that t.v. show. HAHA!

Anyway, here is my progress this week. I'm getting annoyed that I can't finish off page 1 because my craft store has been out of the two/three colors I need to finish it so I did what I could on page one and started to block out some black on page two.

Also, I don't normally show off my backs but I'm a bit proud of how it looks considering the confetti stitches etc in this piece. It's not perfect and I'll never be as good as Clawful because I just don't have the patience she has...but I like it anyway. :D

Last, but not least...I just want to show off the awesome needleminder I found on Etsy. :D

I love Sweeny Todd and am looking forward to seeing this piece grow! It's looking great so far. Tell your craft store to hurry up and get the threads in that you need!

Oh that needle minder is the BEST! Was it specific shop you got it form or just a seller who happened to have one?

It was a specific shop. She has all kinds of needleminders (including a bunch of other book ones). She's even adding Watership Down to her "to-do" list for me. She also has a couple of really neat needle cases done up old monster B movie poster style (like Attack of the 50 Foot Stitcher was one) and dollhouse miniature stuff and even a few patterns!

Here is her store - https://www.etsy.com/shop/PinoyStitch?r ... 9553057240
