Sprite Stitch Board!

So I have this piece of gorgeous hand dyed aida, 14 count.
I've been tearing my hair out trying to pick the perfect thing to go on it, so I'm opening to suggestions!

I'm not a fan of landscapes or that sort of traditional stuff.
I've looked at mermaids, sailor moon and dragonflies but can't find anything that will fit.
Prefer something with no background so the fabric is displayed
The size of the fabric is 9 inch by 21, so it's been tricky. It's so pretty, I want to stitch something awesome on it.

How do you feel about a Peter Pan-esque panoramic? The background looks a lot like the sky when they're flying. And the glitter could be the stars. Just do only black for buildings and the bridge and the 4 in the sky?

My first instinct was definitely for something flying, but then I got to thinking what about water? Some Oriental koi fish might work well or other view where you are looking into a pool of water. Maybe a lily pad with frog?

To me this screams Elsa from Frozen but I am a Disney freak, so it may have something to do with that. Good luck finding the perfect pattern!

I have to agree! But I also think it would work well for a mythical creatures piece - maybe a fairy, unicorn or something like that. Don't have a specific image in mind, though.

Not a huge fan of landscape'y stuff, but it does sound like a cool idea, just not something I'd like to keep for myself (Peter Pan idea)

I'm going to see if the Art Siren of the Deep will fit well, and going to check out Firewing, they have some pretty cool things.

Sorry I wasn't sure if you'd have counted that as a landscape. But I hope you find something to go on it!
