Mother's Day bookmarks
I like to give practical, but pretty gifts, so I decided this year to make bookmarks for my mom and grandma. I haven't quite finished the one for my mom yet (yeah, yeah, I know when Mother's Day was ), but here's the one that I made for my Nana:
I even found a card that almost matched!
I patched together the pattern from different things I found online - the flowers are Scottish Thistles (my great-great grandfather and great-grandfather came to the U.S. from Scotland in the early 1900's).
