I am 22, female and I started cross stitching when I was about 10. I took a break for a few years and have recently picked it back up. I also am looking into some perler beads (sp sorry) projects!
Expecting my first future gamer Dec 2012
I know Karate, Kung Fu, and 47 other dangerous words.
Ive just turned 23! I did crafts at school from a young age, and my nan has always encourged me to do knitting and stitching. And as I have a gamer boyfriend, it just seems right to be geeky cross stitch/bead work, at least while Im unemployed anyway!!
I'm a 30 year old Mom. My daughter is 8 and she's the one I'm doing all the Pokemon stitching for. She wants to stitch as well but she doesn't get the concept of counting and following a pattern. She certainly loves the beads though so maybe that will be her niche.
I'm 28 and female....The only odd thing about me on this site is that I am NOT a gamer...Like, at all. But my friends are, and I came here looking for patterns to make presents for friends and friends' children.
I"m 28, and a mother of 4. I cross-stitch, sew, bead, perler-bead, and really a little bit of everything Also, I game, my husband games, 3 of my four kids play video games (youngest is 3mts old, but my 2yearold can beat SMB3 world 1)

That is awesome! My whole family games and I'm trying to get my 2 year old daughter into actually playing games as she mostly loves just watching! So far, I've had her on Sonic 2, Quake 3 and Street Fighter IV
Having said that, she knows a lot of the characters and the music from some games

29 for the 4th year running!
I don't remember learning to craft- except for knitting which I learned last year. I've been stitching, sewing, painting, quilting, for pretty much as long as I can remember mostly because I have an awesome mom.
I'm 35 and a father of two :-) I didn't expect to be one of the older members around!
I work at the local hospital as a staff scientist. Spent most of my childhood playing too many video games and got into cross-stitching when I saw an xmas ornament at my mother-in-law's and thought "hey, that would be perfect for doing pixelated graphics". So I stole my mother-in-law's cross-stitching supplies and got cracking.
So after a whole day of being paid to think really hard, and then looking after the kids most of the evening, I get about an hour to myself to zone out and stitch (or code). :-)
