I'm 26 and female. Only got into perlers and crafting about 6 months ago...I feel like I'm a late bloomer compared to the teenagers on the boards! Haha

if only this board was around when i was a teen, would have kept me out of alot of trouble!!!

Just reading the 'off topic' on this thread I think it's great that men stitch and I see nothing wrong with it. If things like video-games can make these crafts interesting to the guys then good on them - I wish we could get more guys stitching!

23 and a girl, getting back into video games now my younger brother has gone to uni and I can finally play games without him telling me i suck!

I'm 26, soon to be 27, and female. I was raised on NES and SNES games, I still have a PS1 and several emulators on both my desktop and laptop, AND a 360. My husband wasn't as much into video games as he was into tabletop gaming, but he's always giving me great ideas. Since I'm in college, I don't get nearly as much time to stitch as I would like as computer science classes tend to give mass amounts of homework. I also work part-time as a software developer for a local IT firm.

Hey NintanDrew, now we have found another programer. But this one is a Hens tooth! Female programmers are rare( 3/500odd ), female games pre SNES era almost as rare, one who does both + stitches sprites

I'm a 20, soon to be 21 year old female, who doesn't see the appeal of drinking [though my friends want to take me out...ugh].
I didn't really have video games apart from the GBA (Pokemon and Tetris, mostly) growing up until the Christmas my dad bought us (me and the kid brother) an Xbox, and we eventually graduated to the 360 a few years ago... And the kid brother and I are both counting down the days until TES V: Skyrim is released. We're even pre-ordering it.

I'm 24, and a girl. Not as into video games as I am into cross-stitching, but I keep up with and do play video games. Mostly I watch others play video games (my husband, brother and son) and do the 'backseat driver' thing. Except Kingdom Hearts 2. I <3 that game.
Anyways, I think from me the crafty video game bunch will eventually have another male stitcher. My previously mentioned son (4 years old) is -super- interested in what I am doing when I stitch.
