Most welcome!

And if grandma doesn't see it, that's good. Although...knowing the older ladies that I do...well, let's just say they'd ALL see it and have a good lol at it. Having said that, my boyfriend didn't see it. He didn't see it even when I made it as obvious as your present. So maybe it's just us :D

@MeiTow - sorry to hear about your dog, hope he recovers soon :)

OH MY . . . *collapses laughing*

I had to show my husband. We had a good laugh. My husband's comment was "if red stuff is coming out, it's time to see a doctor. Not to mention one of them is blue . . ."

Everyone keeps saying how great Journey is, so I might have put in an order for a ps3 this morning. Can't wait for it to arrive!

I did an alternate portal design, just added the running stick guy in place of the portals. XD Nothing else was changed from the original.

OUTSTANDING.

In your defense, when I looked at it the first time (before reading your caption) I didn't notice it. Now, of course...

I also really want to order this game; I remember seeing the previews for it way back when and somehow never got it. I met Austin Wintory, the composer, earlier this year; so now I have even more reason to get it. I am only waiting until after finals are over! Then it will be a graduation present to myself.

That's what I was thinking of doing. Yours turned out way better than mine, though!

we are also strongly considering buying a ps3 to play journey (and a few other games - little big planet). Just waiting for the ps4 release/pre christmas price drop.

You can get them used pretty cheap :) I waited 5 years or there about to buy mine. I managed to get a $100 discount from GameStop which is why I did it before i moved instead of after (even though it meant bringing it on my 3 day drive/move). Journey is a very emotional experience, but it's also short. I still think it's one of the most perfect games I've ever played. Portal and Portal 2 belong in that category too actually so I like how katdun stitched them together even though there were... unforeseen consequences.
Lileya wrote:I actually got to stitch a lot this weekend, we rushed so much to pack things that there's not really anything left to pack... We kind of need plates and clothes until we move to the house! >_>
And yesterday, it was another one of those wonderful weekends where my neighbors partied all night and woke me up like 20 times so I had to get up around 8am because they just wouldn't stop making a racket. Only the difference was, this time around, they apparantly beat the * out of each other and one of them ended up at the hospital... There was 2 police cars in front of our appartment building until late in the afternoon... I didn't feel like doing anything else than stitching after that wonderful experience!
Yeah... I can't wait to get the hell out of here...
I know exactly how you feel! (details in spoiler)
Spoiler
I made the mistake of moving into the "campus town" at my university. This also happens to be the university with the largest Greek system in the US, so there is massive partying and I'm just not used to it. There were molotov cocktails in the parking lot last summer, an apartment in the building next door caught on fire because a dude was cooking a smoke bomb and it exploded. It scared his friend who then jumped out the 2nd story window at 3 am and started screaming... oh and at the apartment building on the otherside, 2 roommates got drunk and started fighting. One pulled a knife and the other pulled a gun and fired it at the wall... yeah wtf. Also there is a constant course of "chug chug chug" on warm nights and massive drunken sheanigans in the alley that my bedroom over looks... I can't wait to leave this!
