BooChocoBoom, I'm so sorry about your baby... Having to deal with that on top of everything else you have going on must be beyond difficult. I can't even imagine how you must be feeling.

BMH, I can't believe someone could be that selfish. My only experience of living with someone I didn't get along with was at uni, so at least I knew there was a definite time limit on our cohabitation (and, while she was terribly stingy, at least she contributed something towards bills etc.). I really hope that you get some relief from your medical problems soon, and your dad, too.
Current projects: 'Heroes' sketch, experiments with surface embroidery.

Oh dear, BMH! I'm sorry to hear of all of this. I don't like your brother! :( If he has threatened you, can you get the police involved to get him out? So not cool. I wish there was something I could do!! In terms of everything else you're going through...oh dear. I'm here for you!

Thanks peeps. :)

Unfortunately I can't at the minute since UK law states that he has to make very specific threats, for example say something like "I'm going to punch you" or the like. Because he deliberately didn't say these things, there's not a lot I can do right now on that front. I'm exploring other avenues in the meantime, but it's so hard to get myself motivated to do the things I need to do.

I understand. I just hate that you're in this situation with your little girl. The feeling of helplessness (that I even feel from reading your post) makes me so angry!

Oh my goodness!BooChoco I am so sorry. Same to blackmageheart. I can't even imagine how you guys feel, but I hope things look up soon.

I know I'm still really new, but I've been going through a lot myself. I'm in a pretty deep hole of depression. I started therapy to handle stress better at the job I had. A few weeks after starting therapy, I lost that job, completely out of the blue. I've never been fired (not to mention from a job I actually liked), and at a time when I was so low in life, it was a big blow. Not to mention, in therapy I learned that something that happened to me as a kid is still strongly affecting my life. Being forced to deal with this thing of my past has me trying to climb out of a hole that is going to take a while to get out of. My husband is my rock, but I don't feel like I have many people to talk to or be friends with. You guys seem like such a close knit community and I hope I can find a home here. I remember the community feeling I felt on forums growing up (I grew up on the internet), and I miss it.

I can understand some of this, as things that happened during my formative years still affect me.

We are, it's like one big family. Sure, we might disagree occasionally but we always do it in an agreeable way! You're very, very welcome here!

And I just want to add that if anyone has a problem, feels like they're struggling or just needs someone to talk to, my inbox is always open for all of you. :)

I hope you feel better soon RMDC. My 1.5 year old has snot coming out of her tear ducts & I think I have a sinus infection/asthma flare-up but at least we don't need antibiotics yet and hubby just started vacation so he can take care of us. I hope you have someone to help you out RMDC. It's hard to be a parent when you're sick, you can't just take a "sick day".
