Happy to see the Journey pattern chosen! I totally didn't map DMC colors when I made my pattern. My bad. I had other things on my mind :) Here's a general guide for the colors. Since the game's lighting is a HUGE part of the experience the exact colors don't matter much.
Colors
  • vry drk gray/black - robes, faces, and glyphs
  • drk gray - headstone
  • light gray - headstone
  • mid Red - robes and ribbon
  • drk red - shading on ribbon
  • gold- rodes and wind
  • lt gold - sand
  • light blue - sky

Lots of green in reverse.

Do you think anyone will mind if I made one of the characters in Journey wear the white robe instead of the red? I'm keeping up with the project, even though I won't finish this month. It's too awesome of a project to not do.

Oh and BMH, for the bottom of my sampler I was wanting to put in the sprite stitch logo - is there a pattern for that or should I just wing it from the site? Also, what about a font for our names/year?

I'm wondering when we'll be able to get our pattern of choice for next week. I need to go shopping for supplies, and want to get them all in one trip. This is my first time participating in a stitch-a-long, and I've definitely been lurking up until now. Here's what I've gotten done so far:

I will be making a ton of stuff available either tomorrow or Thursday - would that be alright? I need to make sure I've got all the files ready :)

EDIT: Just thought I'd post a quick WIP of my sampler before I go out!

I changed around some of the gradients in the DDR band because I really love those sea-greens! I haven't changed anything in the Mario Kart one, was going to have a green shell (fond memories of green shells!) but it was too much green so stuck with red. And I have used a variegated thread for the sand in the Journey one, also I've changed the blue to a darker one. I was going to swap the 918 for 777 on the cloaks, but decided I liked the rusty colour of the 918 so left it in. I'm going to mark out the space for band 4 later, then start on my border! :D

I am loving seeing everyones progress, and I am totally going to do this, but I just don't have time right now. I am almost finished my charity square, so if I am lucky I will start this before the end of the month, but with uni and grad job applications, who knows...

keep up the good work everyone, can't wait to see the variety in the week 4 bands :good:

Nope :)
Swap the black decorations on the robes for a dark gold and you should be fine.

I was going to do this, but changed my mind, so I'd be excited to see someone do it. Love the white cloaks! <3
