Can I just inform everyone that the 3799 on the Journey characters cloaks should actually be a dark red, I would suggest swapping it for the 814 that is in the streamer in the middle. Not sure about the glyphs at the sides, these can probably be whatever colour, really. Of course, if you wish to keep the 3799 then you can do so! :)

@RMDC: I really recommend Journey, it's a very emotional experience. :)

EDIT: Just wanted to add that the characters' faces should be left the dark colour!

I've been working on my border all morning trying several scenarios. I wasn't sure either to put the square, x, circle and triangle by themselves and or inside the grey/black circle, to add the start and select buttons or not, maybe even L1, R1, etc. I finally made up my mind : it looks much better with the border of the button. Thats how mine will look, if I get enough time to stitch it (the moving is coming so quickly...) :

I caught up!

For now I'm just putting a black backstitched block around the bands, but I'm going to add blackwork at some point. The block actually helps me to know where to stitch. It can get confusing on this 28 count.
The Journey band is so pretty. My husband downloaded the demo on our PS3. It's a beautiful game. I think he's going to buy it.
I'm really enjoying this stitch-a-long. It's so fun to see what everyone else is doing, while we're essentially stitching the same thing. :)

On a similar note, does anyone know if 741 is a good substitute for 740? or is there another one that works better? I have 741 but not 740... and it's been raining too much for me to walk to Hobby Lobby...

I have both 740 and 741 and they are companion colors. 740 is almost like a neon orange (ALMOST but not quite) and 741 is a milder version of it. You could easily swap one for the other.

I have finished my last project tonight about an hour ago (aka 11:30pm). I guess I need to see about doing this, this week.

My original plan was to try an turn everything into shades of blue, but I tried some on a scrap piece (might not have been smart to use 28ct over one) and it didn't look great. Will have to get material and see if it was just the shades I chose =s

I really love the idea!! I can't wait to see the final result! :good:

I noticed that there was no pattern for KG Chart users, so I made one. I altered the dark 3799 on the cloaks to be 814 like BMH suggested, but you can change it back if you want. Here is the STH pattern for KG Chart:
