Wow, that's a great idea! Looking forward to seeing the other borders you come up with!

Nice work so far, everyone! I have started mine tonight. I'm excited to have this be my first SS Stitch-a-long.

I've found that the best representation actually comes from scanning the stitch, if you have a scanner. Or, natural daylight and no flash with a camera.

I'm really glad it's held up (and none of the patches have come undone :) ). It looks like you've got it pretty stuffed.

It's normally a little less inflated, but I've got all my skeins in there at the moment - I hadn't sorted out which colors I needed by the time we were going out of the house, so I just grabbed the lot and shoved them in. :P

I've started working on mine and have made it quite weird. :D I decided to be wildly different and do the sampler in "opposite" colors from what is normal. Definitely doing to to have to do some backstitching just to outline the white that's supposed to be black but I think the rest of it is going to turn out really interesting.

The thought of 'reverse colors' occurred to me too but I was too chicken to pull it off. I so wanna see what you do with it!

Pattern is up in the pattern section for anybody interested :

I also just changed the SNES pattern with the actual colors that I've used (forgot to do it yesterday, sorry!)

Well, I was hoping to finish my band tonight, but I bled on it... I put tons of water on it and dried it with q-tips, trying to absorb the blood. It's kind of ruined but I guess from far I won't be able to really tell. Thanks to my freaking dry hands....... :banghead:
Current projects :
Out of commission after surgery until May.

Currently playing : Speed runs of Biohazard HD Remaster

Here's mine. Once it's all done. I'm going to do black work as the background on each sampler. Waiting till I have all the samplers though so I can decide the color(s). Mine us on scrap fabric, I'm going to turn mine into a pillow!
