Dunhour Bead Sprites Updated Dec 12th

I didn't want to upload anything new just in case my friends happened to check this website. But I went ahead and gave away all the christmas gifts already so I can upload then in peace now! For the most part I was going with a Vs. theme, even though there are various exceptions. Due to the larger canvas size I used, I felt the need to have something in the middle which ended up looking great for the most part.



This first one is Link vs. Ganon, self explanatory with the Tri-Force in the middle.



Sabin vs. Edgar. I originaly wanted a coin in the middle that was heads on both sides, but felt that was too difficult to convey and instead changed it to just heads and tails. Obviously portraying the point where the two stood atop the castle to decide who would take upon the burdon of the kingdom.



Killua vs. Gon. This one most people won't know as its from an anime Hunter x Hunter (also the icon in the middle).



Cloud vs. Sephiroth. Obvious.



Gau vs. Kenshin. Not so obvious. Kenshin I wanted to do without question as it was one of the first anime's I saw with the friend I made it for and used to use the handle ebattousai. I could not think of a good match up for Kenshin and play tested several ideas before I just decided to go the complete opposite direction and use one of his favorite FF6 characters.



Gaara vs. Rock Lee - The most epic fight from the naruto anime series (up till I stopped watching which was around here). The icon in the middle was suppose to be the Kanji for Love but it didn't come out too well.



Ryu vs. Ken. Pretty obvious. Wasn't too pleased with the belts and would definitely change the colors if I were to do it again.

I actually tried something new this time around and put metal sheets behind that canvas with magnets on the back of each character. This way they could take it off the canvas and use it as a magnet, or for my friends that also do beadwork they can make their own and mix and match the Vs. theme.

I haven't made a post in a long time, but here are some random ones i've done in the recent past here. I am thinking of doing a large scale piece again but am struggling on figuring out a perfect scene.

Here are two pieces from Scott Pilgrim for a friend which seems to be a popular piece to do lately, and then Rydia from Abysswolf.

They all look great, and an Abysswolf sprite always makes a great perler bead piece/stitching
