I went fancy - tea dyed 22ct as a base colour, and then I scrunched it up and spattered some coffee grinds and really strong black coffee over it.
it looks really really good.
I'm about halfway through the mountain, gonna do Smaug after that.

This may be my first ever post on here, I'm a long time creeper with a stash of things to stitch, but I thought I'd post a wip of this pattern I feel in love with it and had this beautiful variegated red in my floss stash that was begging to be smaug. I should finish it soon I'll try to remember to post a finished image.
Thought that I would post an update, I've been a bit busy so I don't have as much done as I had wanted to. Theres a bit more than this now but I took this last night to show my husband the progress as it's a gift for him while he works out of state.
