This pattern is incredible! My daughter would have loved it - she was an uber Zelda fan! I would love to make it in honor her love for the game. I have a few questions first
What count Aida cloth would it look best on? All the dimensions are in cm so I'll have to do some figuring to get them into inches
How do I make changes in the software to reflect the different counts in Aida cloth? for example 14 count vs 16 count
If anyone is able to answer these questions, I would be so very grateful. TIA

IIRC, 16 count would be the best count aida to work on - the finished pattern would be nearly exactly 16 x 14 inches.vjroot99 wrote:This pattern is incredible! Re: Zelda: A Link To The Past Map (Light World)
Hi everyone, newbie to this site but I love it. My son got the pattern for Zelda Light World and asked me to cross stitch it. I did and it took me over two years (I did stop and start it here and there due to other obligations) but I finished for him finally. I stitched it on 14 count aida.
Now I am hooked on stitching video games! Great site and thanks for all the good information!

I started an Instagram account to document my progress on this.

I'm doing it on 25 count black linen with 2 over 2 (12.5 count) and 3 ply stitches.
I'm planning on making a GIF of all the progress pictures I've taken. I started it April 2019. I hope to have it done by March 2021.
