Pattern Theft

Post by Servotron »

After having a message from Blink190, you kindly pointed this out to me, I though I should let the forum know in case it affects anyone else. This seller on etsy (http://www.etsy.com/shop/coinchantal) seems to be reselling patterns from around the web. She has the Epic Pokemon Pattern from the forum, which is freely available, but she also has Lord Libidan's Pokemon pattern from his Etsy shop. She also has a bunch from myphotostitch.com.

Just letting people know so they can check to see if any of their patterns are being resold without permission.

Attempting Diamond Painting
Making like three crochet blankets at once #nolife
slowly amassing floss for the old-style Epic Pokemon

Hasn't got any of mine thankfully, but it really annoys me when people do this. And for some reason even more so when we do some of the patterns for free.

I hope those listings are taken down very soon!

I made sure to report the shop - I'm sure it's already been done several times, but sometimes a dogpile is appropriate.
Mostly hibernating here. Find me on Twitter @rmdcade.

I know someone on the forum made a pattern for the exploding tardis, but I don't know if it's the same one being sold in their store.

I reported it as well, this kind of behavior ticks me off.

The pokepatterns look familiar, as does that Umbreon with random yellow stitches around it. Did we make a pattern of that recently or am I confusing it with somewhere else?

That one is from myphotostitch.com, I did a Google Image search on it.
