Cross Stitch to Perler
I want to make a perler pattern for some coasters in my cross stitch software. What fabric count would the Perler be equivalent to?

Re: Cross Stitch to Perler
Would it really matter? 1 pixel, aka 1 cross stitch would equal 1 perler bead. That wouldn't change regardless of what count fabric you pretended it would be.

I meant for the sake of design size. A design stitched on 18 count aida is going to be slightly smaller than a design stitched on 14 count aida. Does that make sense?

Just take a ruler and measure one inch of the Perler board, and count how many pegs are in one inch. That will give you the count.PinkPoodle wrote:I meant for the sake of design size. Re: Cross Stitch to Perler
If I'm not mistaken a standard bead is 5mm which means you want 5 count cross stitch for the design.
