Because I think you all are the kind of smart crafty people who would find this cool, and since not everyone is a quilter who might follow my favorite blogger thebitchystitcher I thought I'd pass along this very cool link she introduced me to.

Definitely cool if you ask me!

Dang it, I really wanted to check this out but my internet decided not to play ball (been having trouble all day -_-)

Any chance someone could snag a couple of pictures and post em here? Pretty please? :D

I've seen these linked elsewhere too and they are just stunning :) I am wanting to get into embroidery and this is definitely inspiration.... Not sure where to start though! :) Let's just say I won't be aiming for something as elaborate as this yet!

You'd be surprised. Most of what she's done is a lot of the very basic stitches used just done well with interesting thread.

If you want an easy way to get into it I suggest http://www.needlenthread.com as she has tons of how to videos and great advice and plenty of free patterns.

Thank you for the link :) I am currently circling the idea of doing embroidery like a vulture... that makes no sense :) Anyway I'm gathering info so thanks! :)
