Just to make sure I understand what you're asking for: we would stitch up the pattern then mail it to you or email you photos of the completed piece?

you would mail it to me, and I would send it along to the publisher with all of the projects. They have to take fancy photos with a photographer and stylist etc to make it look super good. Then I'll mail it back once they are done with photographs.

fancy photos like this one from the "world of geekcraft" book...

Everyone's willing to help!

I'll have a play with some ideas, and I might be able to do some stitching if time permits :D

If there are any left I'd like to volunteer to do some smaller stitchings. I go back to school soon and don't know how much time I could dedicate to a larger one!

Please tell me that I'm not too late to volunteer to stitch for you!
I'd definitely be up for doing a medium size project. Star Trek and stitching, make it sew indeed!

We are hoping to get approval on patterns by july 11th from the publisher. If that is the case I think i'll send out a mass email with patterns on the 11th or 12th, and just do a first come first served on signups for what patterns people want to stitch. I'll have a deadline by then on when the stitching needs to get back to me. but, it looks like it will be approximately 6-7 weeks, so people will be able to judge what they can get done by then.

No worries if you sign up now and later get busy, you can drop out. The only big deal is once you sign up for a specific pattern, I absolutely can't have anyone drop out, the whole book could be in jeopardy if one person doesn't follow through.

I just had a geekgasm. this is too good to be true.

I would be more than happy to do some small ones, don't think I would have the time for big ones. But count me i :D
