This code worked for me as a new purchase! I had already downloaded PC-Stitch 10 but it was unregistered, I bought the $19 upgrade, put in the key, and it works.

There is no "hand tool" just scroll bars. I have a large monitor so it usually isn't something I miss but you might want to post on suggestions page of the PC Stitch forums about this.

Do you get both the key and a physical disc? I want to enter the key at work, but if it's a one-time use deal and you don't get a disc as well, I'll save it for my home PC instead and just email myself the pdf patterns to print out at work.

I think you can order a disc, but I have the downloaded version. As far as I know the key is not a "one-time only" deal, but I would only install/enter it on the machine you plan to use it on the most/own.

I just used the upgrade code to buy PC Stitch 10 as a first time user and it worked! I had the trial version installed and buying the "upgrade" gave me a registration code to enter, which worked with no problems at all.
